a stunning legal development, officials of the Church of Spiritual Technology
(CST), doing business as the "L. Ron Hubbard Library," have failed to answer
the complaint that was served on them in a libel lawsuit that could be
worth as much as $190 million.
.....The original suit, "Stephen Mitchell,
et. al, plaintiffs, vs. David Miscavige, et. al, defendents/respondents,"

.....CST never answered the bell. They
offered no answer to the lawsuit in the time alloted to respond, and now
a default has been entered against them (see
Default Entry Document here). It should be noted that an ENTRY

WHY, WHY, OH WHY?

Veritas was already investigating CST and its fictitious alter-ego, the
"L. Ron Hubbard Library." The story involves a complicated corporate structure
(see "Secret Chart of Power"); the shuffling of
copyrights (see "How CST Grabbed the Copyrights");
shadowy, mysterious, unidentified corporate officals (see "Scientology's
Greatest Secret?"); strange records in the Library of Congress (see
"A New Slant On Fraud?"); and--believe
it or not--a hidden tie to the IRS (Surprise!).
